Visitors Center

Campus Visitor Center

Your first stop when visiting the Virginia Tech campus should be the Visitor and Undergraduate Admissions Center conveniently located at 925 Prices Fork Road, next to The Inn at Virginia Tech, the University's hotel and conference center. The Visitor's Center provides everything you need (parking passes, maps, directions) to navigate the campus and the town of Blacksburg. The Center also has numerous interactive exhibits that showcase Virginia Tech’s history, mission, academics, student life, and ongoing research and outreach.

Food Science Building

Food Science & Technology is located in the Food Science building at the corner of Duck Pond Drive and Washington Street and the Human and Agricultural Biosciences Building 1 (HABB1) which is located across the street. Our street address is 360 Duck Pond Drive (next to the baseball field). Use location (Grid: J-9) and building number (123) when using campus maps.

Wi-Fi Access

Virginia Tech offers short-term visitors free wireless service to prospective students, parents and friends during their visit to the campus. To self-register: connect to the "Virginia Tech" wireless network on your device and open a web browser. Select "Guest" and follow the prompts. After completing the registration form, you will receive an SMS text with your login credentials. To manually set up a guest wi-fi account, go to the registration page.
