Chemistry Lab Manager

• Support departmental teaching and research functions through knowledge and instruction regarding instrumentation and analytical methods
• Assist in the design and performance of chemical analysis related projects for professors, graduate students and undergraduate researchers
• Assist in the design and performance of research for collaborative industry and university projects
• Conduct statistical analysis, write reports and present results
• Carry out all projects accurately and in a timely manner
• Keep laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs) current and available for use
• Instruct students, faculty and staff on proper laboratory procedures
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair departmental instruments
