Progressing Through Your Degree

Throughout your time as a student at Virginia Tech, you can utilize the resources of the department and university to ensure you are making efficient progress towards graduation and setting yourself up for success. Staying connected with your advisor is key in making timely progress.

Applied Learning

A huge part of our educational thesis is experiential learning. There’s no better way to learn anything than to get your hands dirty. These opportunities are built into many of your courses, but there are plenty outside of the classroom. Find an internship. Join a study abroad program. Get involved in undergraduate research. The possibilities are endless.
